Our Services
From the first walkthrough to the final handover, we coordinate every element of the process so that you never have to.
Most families and executors find themselves caught between specialists who handle only one part of the process — the auction house that takes the fine art but ignores the furniture, the clearance firm that empties the house but destroys the value. Parker Asset Solutions exists to close that gap. We manage the entire process under a single, transparent engagement.
A complete record of everything, before anything moves.
Before any asset can be valued or sold, it must be properly recorded. We spend the necessary time on-site — however many days the property requires — to create a comprehensive digital inventory of every item in the house.
Each item is photographed in high resolution, assigned a reference number, and categorised: high-value auction candidates, mid-value private sale items, donation-grade pieces, and residue for clearance. This master catalogue becomes the foundation for every subsequent decision.
For probate purposes, this document also provides the executor and their solicitor with a clear, auditable record of the estate's contents — an essential requirement for HMRC Inheritance Tax submissions.

The right channel for every asset.
Once the inventory is complete, we coordinate the appropriate specialists for formal appraisal. For fine art, antiques, and jewellery, we work with RICS-qualified valuers and our established regional auction partners — including Woolley & Wallis in Salisbury and Duke's in Dorchester.
Classic and premium vehicles are handled through specialist digital platforms and regional trade buyers, ensuring they reach the right audience rather than being undervalued through general channels.
We manage the entire logistics chain: coordinating white-glove transport to auction houses, overseeing the consignment process, and presenting the estate with a clear financial settlement once proceeds are received.

Discretion, where the public auction is not appropriate.
For many families, the public auction process is not the right approach. Whether for reasons of privacy, timing, or the nature of the assets involved, a discreet private sale can achieve a superior outcome.
We manage private treaty sales through our established network of collectors, specialist dealers, interior designers, and premium trade buyers. Fine watches and jewellery are placed with trusted London and regional brokers. Antique furniture is offered directly to high-end interior practices. Classic vehicles are presented to specialist dealers and private collectors.
All private sales are conducted under strict confidentiality, with funds routed through the estate's solicitor to ensure complete transparency and security.

The property left exactly as it should be.
Once all assets have been liquidated, the property must be cleared and prepared for the estate agents. We manage this final phase using premium, fully licensed clearance sub-contractors — not the cheapest available, but those who work to the standard the property deserves.
Residual items are sorted responsibly: quality pieces are donated to registered charities, suitable items are offered to local dealers, and only genuine waste is disposed of through licensed channels.
The property is left entirely broom-clean, with a final walkthrough report provided to the executor or solicitor confirming completion.

Fee Structure
We operate on a hybrid model: a fixed upfront management fee to secure our time and cover initial costs, and a success commission on assets sold — so our incentives are always aligned with achieving the best possible outcome for the estate.
Upfront Management Fee
£1,500 – £5,000
Covers the initial walkthrough, digital cataloguing, photography, and coordination of specialist valuers. Agreed in advance and billed upon instruction.
Success Commission
10 – 15%
A percentage of gross sales achieved through auction or private treaty channels. Scaled appropriately for exceptionally high-value single assets.
Third-Party Expenses
Pass-through
Transport, clearance crews, and specialist authenticators are billed at cost directly to the estate. We do not mark up third-party expenses.
All fees are agreed in writing before any work commences. A formal engagement letter is provided for every instruction.
We work with a small number of clients at any one time. Enquiries are treated with complete confidentiality.
